Option One: Write out the issue in a few sentences. What’s going on and who is involved? What do you notice the most and what concerns you the most? What do you already know about the issue? What do you need to find out more about?
Option Two: Find someone in your community that may be affected by this broad issue. Create a set of questions that you would like to ask to better understand what motivates them, what they value, and what the issue specifically affects in the lives.
Option Three: Head outside and sketch. Grab your sketch book, a pencil, find a spot that represents nature to you, reflect back on the story you just consumed and draw what you feel regarding the issue. Think about why nature is important to you and how this issue affects you and your community.
