Part One

What is the difference between an entrepreneur and an intrapreneur? Which approach to work and career is more effective, impactful and rewarding?

  1. Which approach are you drawn to? Why? What are the best qualities of the approach you prefer?
  2. Identify a few people, either in your community or around the world, who use each approach in an impactful and innovative way. What are they doing that you admire?
  3. Can you visualize how you might use skills or techniques exemplified by your preferred approach in this class and in your future career?
  4. In what ways do your skills compliment this approach to work? What skills do you think you lack that prevent you from embracing the alternative approach?

Part Two

  1. Gather as a class and have a discussion. Debate the pros and cons of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship. Which approach is the most impactful? Which approach is the easiest to pursue? Is one approach more rewarding than the other? Is one approach better than the other? Is there a right answer? Over to you.
