Find a career path that you would never pursue, or don’t understand.

Answer these questions:

  1. Do some research on the career and find any commonalities you share with it and your career you are pursuing. List them.
  2. What part of the career do you think is the most reasonable, or would like the most?
  3. What part of the career would you never want to do? Why? Is there a similar aspect to this part as there is to your career?
  4. Why do you think this career is unsuitable for you, or shouldn’t exist?
  5. What if your point of view is wrong? What if this career is needed, or would suit your skills?
  6. After doing more research on this career, does it make you want to rethink your position? If not, what would it take for this career to be more suitable for you, your skills and your passions?
