It’s Science Literacy Week, and this year’s theme is Curiosity.
Sometimes the best way to get curious about science is simply to go somewhere new and look around.
We created a virtual experience of Mount Robson Provincial Park that lets students explore one of British Columbia’s incredible landscapes without leaving the classroom.
Take a virtual drive along the Mount Robson corridor, stopping at the park’s hikes and trails along the way. Get a preview of what you’ll find before choosing where to explore.
Then, head to the Visitor Centre and hike virtually to Kinney Lake, the gateway to the world-famous Berg Lake Trail.
Along the way, students can explore the landscape, look closely at what’s around them and start asking questions about the geology, ecology, wildlife and people that shape this place.
Because curiosity doesn’t always start with a textbook.
Sometimes it starts with:
- What’s around that corner?
- Why does this landscape look like this?
- What lives here?
- Where does this trail lead?
Explore Mount Robson Provincial Park virtually with Nature Labs.
Science Week may be ending, but curiosity never does.
Continue your journey of discovery with wildlife stories, activities, and nature exploration opportunities from coast to coast to coast.
