Inspire Young Artists to Share Their Climate Stories!

Calling all teachers of grades 7-12! The Government of Canada, through the Canada in a Changing Climate: National Assessment Process, invites students to express their perspectives on climate change through visual art. This is a unique opportunity to spark meaningful classroom discussions on topics like:

  • How students experience climate change in their daily lives
  • What the future might hold with more extreme weather events
  • What gives them hope and inspires action

Students can submit artwork that explores four key subthemes:

  • Our changing climate
  • Impacts on health
  • Adapting for the future
  • Pathways to climate justice

Selected submissions will be showcased on changingclimate.ca, in reports, and possibly in special exhibits!

Help elevate youth voices and inspire a new generation of climate leaders. Youth perspectives are important, and their artistic expression will help Canadians across the country relate to the messages about climate change in these reports.

🌱 Submission Deadline is April 22, 2025—don’t miss out!
