Ever play the game ‘Two Truths and a Lie’?

Yes, your parent(s) or guardian(s) may have taught you that lying is bad. But not this time! For this game, we encourage you to lie to the best of your ability.

The goal is to try to trick your classmates by coming up with three statements. Two are true and one is false. For this version of the game, you aren’t coming up with statements about yourself. Instead, you will come up with two truths and one lie based on a concept or idea from the stories you just watched and terms/concepts that will be covered in this course.

Come up with your three statements and then present them to the rest of the class. Repeat each statement again and have the class raise their hands to vote either truth or lie for each statement. Record the votes and then reveal your lie! You win if you can stump the class.

The trick is to really use your acting skills and present yourself as convinced that all three statements are true.

Example:

  1. A skill is something you do well.
  2. Intrapreneurship is innovation from within an existing company or organization.
  3. Grizzly bears and brown bears are different species.

Which one is false? Should be easy

Happy trickery!
