Executive Director, TD Scholarships; Author, “Resilient Woman: Weaving Together Work, Family, and Self”

Society is skeptical about today’s youth. Lazy, entitled, precious: that’s what we hear. But society is wrong, according to Jane Thompson. The Executive Director of the TD Scholarships for Community Service program, Jane has spent two decades weighing the applications of young leaders from across Canada and awarding the twenty best, each year, with $70,000 to pursue their education. It’s one of the largest, longest-running and most successful programs of its kind and few understand the potential of today’s youth – and the multitude of ways to unlock that potential – better than Jane.

This sought-after speaker and author of the book Resilient Woman, invited us to her Toronto home for a cup of tea and a conversation about passion, career, impact and hope.
