It’s time to take your storyboard and see if others like your idea.
Make sure your storyboard is visible for others to see. As a class, you will go around to each board, view the concept and offer feedback. Is the idea being presented well-thought-out and well-researched (or has a plan in place to conduct the needed research)? Is the concept for the visual story an example of good storytelling techniques? On both counts, use the resources at the bottom of the page as a guide.
To deliver feedback, use Post-it notes to add a comment to each board.
Ideas for feedback:
- Ask a clarifying question.
- Inject realism into the idea by pointing out aspects that might be good in theory, but harder to achieve in practice.
- Highlight what you like best (and possibly suggest that the attribute be scaled or replicated, if appropriate).
- Don’t simply criticize an idea; offer a better alternative.
- Share techniques you’re using that others might benefit from.
- Provide tips, like execution or marketing ideas.
- Suggest a resource or tool or interview that might enhance the visual story.
- If you haven’t already, suggest collaboration opportunities by pointing out similarities with other boards.
