Happy Canada Day!

On this Canada Day, we celebrate a country defined by its vast beauty, quiet strength, and deep sense of community. From the rugged coastlines of the Atlantic to the towering Rockies and the expansive prairies in between, Canada holds space for so many stories—of resilience, diversity, and shared hope. It’s a place where kindness is a cultural cornerstone, where different voices come together in harmony, and where the land itself inspires humility and gratitude. Whether you’re paddling a northern lake, walking through a bustling city, or standing beneath the northern lights, there’s something unmistakably special about being part of this country. Here’s to Canada: strong, free, and always evolving.

Nature Labs is the first all-Canadian, truly national, virtual high school textbook. It just one year, over 400 Canadian high schools and more than 60,000 high school students in almost every province and territory used Nature Labs. Every lesson, every story, every virtual experience we created – and we created a lot of content to reflect the true diversity of stories and perspectives in this land – was consumed, with many students using the platform each day for their most important courses. And the feedback has blown us away. We’re a long way from our goal, but we’re incredibly excited that teachers and students find Nature Labs useful and impactful, and that is already helping a new generation think more critically and act more creatively, today and, we hope, every day for the rest of their lives.
