Co-founder of Verdexus and CEO of the Middlebrook Corporation, Randall is one of Canada’s top technology innovators, champions and investors. Building on a degree in math, Randall began his career designing innovative products before making the transition to help innovative companies grow. He’s helped numerous companies achieve traditional financial success: generating tens of millions in revenue and hundreds of global employees. Today, Randall is more focused on blurring the line between philanthropic impact and financial success. For his work, Randall has received numerous recognitions, including being named High Technology’s Entrepreneur of the Year and receiving Communitech’s Impact Award.
We caught up with Randall in downtown Toronto, just before he was set to listen to another round of entrepreneurial pitches, to better understand how good ideas succeed – and how the best ideas also benefit the environment.
